Conurbation area of Veracruz that went from being a small fishing community to a center of commercial and tourist development.
It currently has a modern infrastructure that includes luxury hotels, shopping centers, elegant restaurants and its famous Convention Center.
The urban landscape of Boca del Río contrasts with the colonial architecture of some of its buildings. Of note is the Boqueña Gastronomy Zone located on the banks of the Jamapa River where traditional restaurants have preserved the atmosphere of the old fishing community and prepare dishes with recipes inherited for years.
The most important festival in Boca del Río is the La Señora Santa Ana festival that takes place every July 26. During this festival it is already a tradition to set a new Guinness record with the largest fillet stuffed with seafood.
